In honor of INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2012, Compass Box Whisky Co., LUPEC-SF (Ladies United for the Preservation of the Endangered Cocktails), WhiskyArchive.com and The Barbary Coast Conservancy of the American Cocktail invite you to celebrate women's success and continued empowerment in San Francisco and around the worldwith an evening of tippling, toasting and Compass Box cocktails.

Thursday, March 8th, 6pm to 8pm Happy Hour

An All-Star Line-up of LUPEC ladies will be shaking and stirring for charity:  Nicole Beyries (ACME Bar, Berkeley); Yael Amyra (The Boothby Center/Acme, SF); Vita Simone (Bar Dogwood & The New Easy, Oakland); Melissa Boyd (Beretta, SF); Kimberly Rosselle (Flora, Oakland); Summer Jane Bell (The New Easy); Diana Krell (Hotsy Totsy, Albany); Aurora Siegel (Lafitte, SF); Jenn Akrill (Rye, SF), among others. 


$5 entry (purchase on Eventbrite.com and at the door; only 100 available)

$8 per drink ticket (at the door)

Your support will raise funds to help Women’s Initiative for Self Employment, which helps high-potential, low-income women with the training, funding and ongoing support to start their own businesses and become financially self-sufficient.

Ticket holders must be 21 years old and older and must provide valid, government issued identification upon entry.

Enter at the door with the BCCAC logo poster (see logo above right), to the left of  M Cafe.

Parking options: on street or across the street at the Some Grand Building ($2 for first hour, $8 up to 4 hours). Bart Civic Center stop is 1.5 blocks away.

The Barbary Coast Conservancy of the American Cocktail is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that exists to preserve the cultural heritage of saloons and their cocktails in San Francisco, while also celebrating California's culinary philosophy and tradition via special public events, publications and educational seminars. The Cocktail Bill Boothby Center for the Beverage Arts is the Conservancy's home and serves as a beverage education and event center.
